I will give it a 3, as we’re not too picky. Overall we’re thankful we found a place that was within budget for a quick two day work event. I will say Angel at front desk is rude. The gentleman who was at front desk later in evening is very kind, respectful and has manners. Give him a raise. Seriously. Your host will make or break you. Hotel rooms are not all in same building, you may need to walk down side street as we did, that was a bit off putting. We did find two bugs in the hotel, but once again. We knew what we paid for. Also, the restaurant was not worth it, and I wish it was. Tables still dirty, and food was not good, yet overpriced. Would I stay here again? Only for quick trip. We can hope owners take change into consider and make some improvement.

The room smelled atrocious and husband had an allergy attack that last hours. The smell ruined our vacation. The pictures are not an accurate. I opened window and handle fell off. The front desk people acted bothered when we checked in. I told front desk our hotel room smell was unbearable. They didn't care. It was the worst hotel experience I ever had. I'm beyond disappointed.

The front desk reception was awful. We showed that our booking came with a drink for each person. She pointed to some happy hour thing from 5 to 6 which it states nowhere. Every person gets the happy hour. We paid extra for a free drink and did not grt it. So her answer, I can cancel your room if you arent happy. We will be vmchanging hotels today. Also smells like cleaning product in room and windows dojt open.

There is no elevator. When you begin walking up the stairs from the lobby to the second floor, the smell immediately hits you snd you see an air purifier in the second floor hallway. The room itself smelled of sewage, tabacco smoke, mildew, and herbs (used to try to cover up the pungent smell). The room had an air purifier going that did not help. My throat hurt the first night trying to go to sleep and was scratchy the next morning from the irritation caused by the smell. We tried to open the windows to sir it out, but the locks broke off both windows and prevented us from doing so. While by the window, we saw that a gecko had also gotten into the room somehow. The hotel is in a historic build that has not been properly fitted to be a functional, aesthetically pleasing hotel. The baseboards and door casings are rotted. The bathroom door had water damage along the bottom that prevented it from closing all the way. The hair dryers were old and functioned poorly. The walls were thin enough to hear other guests' alarms going off in another room. The hotel restaurant was out of many items listed on their menu. The complimentary happy hour cocktail is decided by the property. First I was told I could choose between rum punch and rum and coke. The bartender then said rum and coke was the only option. I am not a fan of that combination, so I was unable to receive the benefit of a "free daily cocktail".

Air purifier to try to help with the smell. It did not help.

Broken locks on windows prevented us from opening them to air out the room.

Light hanging at weird angle, not fully functioning and poor construction craftsmanship.

THIS IS A TAVERN WITH A FEW RUN DOWN ROOMS NEXT TO IT!!! we couldnt stay in such a thing, so walked out and were left stranded on the streets of miami at 2:30 at night, it took us till six to find somewhere to go! there were cockroaches all over the floor,peeling paint, tiny the place was DISGUSTING and unclean, IF YOU HAVE EVEN THE TINEIST BIT OF COMPASSION FOR YOURSELF, SPARE YOURSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personnel agréable, chambre spatieuse avec kitchenette, mais peu d'éléments pour cuisiner, hotel bien situé et bien desservi par les transports (trolley gratuit notamment) pour aller soit vers north beach soit south beach. Piscine franchement petite et à cette époque (hiver) toujours à l'ombre, nous n'y sommes pas allés.

Room has roaches. Smelled very bad like mold covered with heavy perfume. Our sink was broken and never got fixed. We had to leave the hotel due to bugs and being very unhappy with our stay. Staff is kind and courteous. The 3 star review is for the room itself. The air is musty and damp (many reviews agree with this). Cracked tiles and the mini fridge leaks water. Shower was nice and the bed was decent. For an inexpensive stay its a good value.

The entire hotel….the pictures are a lie this hotel stinks, it’s run down, the rooms are extremely small, the bedding wasn’t clean neither was the bathroom. The hallways had an extremely strong cedar smell that will give you a headache. The pool is the size of a bathtub. The rooms are out dated. You can’t get your own ice you have to go to the front desk and request it and even then it’s locked up in a room and only they have access to it. There is no phone to call to the front desk you have to text or walk around. No wash cloths were given and you have to walk through the restaurant outside where everyone is eating just to get to and from building 2 with bags and all. That is not okay .The price was outrageous for what I got. Just because it’s close to the beach area doesn’t mean charge whatever and give whatever. 1/10 do not recommend.
