The Seascape was lovely and so were the staff, particularly Alex, Daniel and Shawnette. I would stay here again under the right circumstances, but here are the things should should know;
PROS - We stayed in a king bed room and it is exactly as you see in the photos. Very modern, stark white and clean. The beds, though very firm, were comfortable for us. Water pressure in the shower is wonderful. The pool area is clean and peaceful, but the mosquitos kept us away from enjoying it. We had a car so we didn't use it, but Daniel was ready to shuttle to the beach, which is less than five mins away, upon request. The location is very accessible to the main strip of Grace Bay, as well as Leeward Highway which gives you access to the rest of the island.
CONS - There is one small window in the room which receive ZERO natural light and the recessed lighting is doctor's office bright. There is one bedside table lamp and that is what we used for light most of the time, because the sterile bright white light of the overheads was very unappealing.
The placement of the outlets was such that we had to rearrange furniture to be able to use some of our accessories. We asked about an extension cord and were told to 'make do'.
The stairs, corridors and room are all appointed with the same white tile. It looks very nice but when it rains, which it does often, it becomes a very slippery hazard.
Drainage across the entire island is a problem and the Seascape is no exception.
