Room..no coffeepot, no iron no microwave no cups.outlet where loose could barely keep a charge on my phone My last two days standing water in my bathtub said they were gonna send somebody up. Came back water was gone but didn’t clean out the tub then next day happen again… Plus the bar staff works quite standoffish

Overall I was very disappointed in this hotel. Of the 4 elevators, only 2 were working to serve 19 floors--every time there was a wait and a crowded elevator. Half of the front doors to the hotel were corded off, making foot traffic into the hotel awkward and crowded for people coming and going. The AC/Heat in the room didn't work. None of the outlets in the bedroom worked, and I had to charge my phone overnight in the only working outlet in the bathroom. Some of the light fixtures in the room weren't working. There were no hand towels to dry your hands on in the bathroom. And the noise from the road below was quite loud (cars honking, traffic); which I expected was par for the course until I stayed at a different hotel in the city (2 blocks away) that was incredibly quiet. This hotel wasn't worth the money, I'd suggest booking elsewhere.

Elevator broke was an issue, bathroom fan broken, no control over heat and it was over 75 degrees. Overall, just run down but not awful. We wouldn't stay here again.

I just needed a place to sleep, as out all day. This was ideal. Clean, presentable, helpful staff, a coffee shop for easy access breakfast, and a bar if I wanted it (I didn’t). The room and bathroom were small, but it’s New York, and I didn’t need any more room than that.

Dear Hotels.com Customer Relations Team, I am writing to formally complain about a serious failure by Hotels.com that resulted in a distressing and unacceptable experience during my stay in New York City. I booked two rooms at Paramount Times Square – A Generator Hotel for the night of January 10–11, 2026: - Reservation 72066325499578 – PAID IN FULL: Room for 3 adults and 2 children, with three individual beds - Reservation 72063989388359 – Pay at property: Room for 2 adults, queen bed When I arrived at the hotel at approximately 6:30 PM, the situation immediately deteriorated. The hotel staff informed me that only one reservation appeared in their system and that the second reservation—despite being confirmed by Hotels.com—was never transmitted to the hotel. What followed was completely unacceptable: - Despite my paid reservation, the hotel did not provide the room I booked - Instead, my family was placed in a significantly smaller room with only two bunk beds, clearly inadequate for 3 adults and 2 children - I was told I would receive a “discount,” which in reality was merely an adjustment for a downgraded room, not a compensation - My family was extremely uncomfortable, and the situation caused unnecessary stress - I waited over one hour for a resolution -There is more about health and conditions of the room… no more characters left… I did not receive the service I paid for. Anything short of a full refund and compensation would be unacceptable.
