Paid a luxury hotel price for what felt like a poorly maintained motel (much the building is a converted motel). While the staff was friendly, discovering that our room required outdoor entry was an unwelcome surprise and not clearly represented in the listing. The photos are misleading. The room had a noticeable mold smell, a bathroom sink that did not drain properly, and visible water damage with discolored walls. We’ve stayed in worse places, but not many, and certainly not at this price point.

Bathroom sink was beyond clogged. Took 30 minutes to drain each time it was used. All 6 outlets by the bed were so loose that they didn't maintain connection to any plug. The room had a musty smell to it. And the location of the soaps and handlebar in shower need to be re-thought. They stab you the entire shower. Such a disappointing stay. Room 380 go check it out

This resort has it all from a pool right on their private beach to drinks and food servers, bicycle reservations if wanted and walking distance to the marina village on the main strip. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous and the hotel and rooms are clean. For the price this resort is truly a rare find and a gem!

We were placed in a room across a busy road in the marina tower. The thermostat said 60°, and air-conditioning was blowing out of the vents. It was January and it was cold outside. We could not get any heat to come out of the vents. We went and complained about it and asked for a new room that would allow us to control the temperature and have a comfortable 70°. They informed us that all the rooms are cold in the marina tower. They only have heat at the hotel for a couple of weeks out of the year. This was not one of those weeks. It was absolutely freezing in the room. They said their solution was to put a space heater in there and extra blankets. The space heater they tried to give us look like it was some machine from the 1970s. We asked for a different room, and the man at the desk said that all the rooms were going to be cold and it wouldn’t help to move at all. I waited in line in the loud lobby once more and found a different person at the desk. She immediately found us a different room, not in the marina tower. It was in the main part of the hotel. This room was acceptable. We could actually regulate the temperature. The only problem is that it is very dated. This whole hotel looks like it was a nice place about 20 years ago. And they haven’t done anything to fix it. The bathroom was tiny. The shower only has half a door. It’s unreal that this is a resort. It was dirty and the sheets were filthy.Do not stay here.

I was extremely disappointed with the room I was assigned during this stay. The exterior wall outside the room appeared visibly damaged, as if heavy equipment had struck it. I was traveling with a guest and had previously spoken highly of this property based on prior visits, which made this experience particularly frustrating. The room faced a side street despite my Monday check-in, which was unexpected. Overall, the room felt dated and poorly maintained. This was my fourth stay at this property, and this experience has made me question my loyalty, especially given the availability of other beachfront options.

Check-in line was always long, room had musty smell and was missing furniture (dresser, desk, comfort chair). Luggage rack was broken so had to set luggage on iron board. Every purchase included an auto 18% gratuity, towel and beach lounge workers seemed put out when setting up chair, and they setup chairs randomly vs organized rows, so it all looked like a cluster f.

The management of the hotel was terrible. When we first checked in we asked for a travel crib for our baby. They said housekeeping would bring one right away. We called over and over and they either wouldn't answer the phone or said one was coming. We went to the front desk and there was a long line of other people complaining. They called housekeeping in front of us but the travel crib never came. After 4 hours they said they had none left. We were later told that they just don't even have travel cribs at the hotel. If we had been told we wouldn't have spent hours of our vacation trying to get one. We then had to try to go to Target at 8pm after my baby's bedtime to buy a travel crib. They could have just told us the truth. We had other problems, our first room smelled like smoke, they couldn't find our reservation when we first checked in, they never told us when our room was ready and we had to bug the front desk, they wouldn't help us bring our bags up to our room. The hotel did have a nice beach and pool though.

The room needs work. Bedside lights old and torn. Stained carpet. No chair in room had to bring outside chair in. Door outside our room was slamming loud Everytime someone walked in our out and all thru the night. Bed sheets are too small to stay on and comforter very old and torn and lumpy. Pillows just ok. The only plus about this hotel

This hotel is lacking in anybody that cares Our room had an awful odour Which we didnt figure out until we showered There were no fans in the room The smell was mildew When we mentioned it at checkout The response Sorry for your inconvenience But that tower has no fans in the bathroom Here is 2 buffet breakfasts No concern about the water damage to the room Or the fact that I had to use puffers to breathe Sad But we wont be back
